No, there's is no need to pay for 3rd party licenses for IrisBG to work, but you may want to supplement with other products depending on your needs.

Most of the reports and labels create output in the MS Office formats XLSX or DOCX. The free Open Office can also use these file formats.

The free database SQL Server Express can be used for collections < 10GB and with a limited number of concurrent users. For larger databases with a lot of images one of the paid SQL Server editions or our Cloud Database service must be used.
