New Users | Coffee Chats | Sustainability Index Webinar | IrisBG 2021 | Conferences 2022
Dear friends,
We would like to start by thanking all of our IrisBG community members, collaborators and friends for your continued support and engagement.
Even though 2021 has been another year out of the ordinary, it has also been a busy, but fun year for us at IrisBG. We introduced the IrisBG Coffee Chats, the Sustainability Index Webinar-series together with APGA and have been working hard towards a better ArcGIS sync and other exciting new features. We became proud sponsors of PlantNetwork and several conferences, and participated in many meaningful symposia and webinars – in 2022 we are hoping we can attend these in person!
That was just a few highlights, some of which you can read more about below.
We are wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a fantastic new year!
Kind regards,
Øyvind Rustan and Mari Rustan

SUSTAINABILITY INDEX WEBINARS
Together for a sustainable future
We never cease being impressed by all the work so many institutions are doing for a sustainable future. As botanic gardens you are in a unique position to be leaders in this field, and chances are that you already are doing a lot of work that would qualify for excellence in one or more of the attributes. We are now half-way through the series and are looking forward to start up again in January.
All previous webinars can be watched on-demand on the APGA website. You will find a link to the recordings, a description and short little text on how IrisBG and aid your work with Sustainability initiatives.

IrisBG SOFTWARE RELEASES 2021
IrisBG new features of 2021
Throughout the year we have as usual worked on introducing big and small improvements to IrisBG. Worth to mention is that you no longer need an WMS server to host your map if you are using ArcGIS. With our Mapping module you can still utilise free map providers and we are glad that OpenStreetMap works again.
Quarterly summary IrisBG version: Issue #1, Issue #2, Issue #3, Issue #4
