In March, we held our first in person workshop for the IrisBG-ArcGIS Mobile solution. The workshop guided participants in setting up a connection between IrisBG and ArcGIS and exporting data for use in the garden on a mobile device using the Field Maps app. A demonstration of using Field Maps with a GNSS receiver was given by Pete Atkinson, Plant Records Officer at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. We were also given a tour of the Garden and the Glass Houses.
Thank you to our hosts for providing space, Wi-Fi, and so many extension cords to keep us all powered up. Together, we did become a little bit wiser.
